The institute generates research insights that it employs in its teaching and programmatic work on three critical challenges that businesses and their stakeholders can address together- racial justice, climate change, and inclusive economies.

Dear Changemakers,

Our academic discovery and purposeful actions reflect the priorities that define our work on campus and in the community. Together with students, partners, and supporters we have made important progress towards our impact goals in 2023.

Our Work

We address complex challenges confronting people and the planet through:
  • Research

    We deliver interdisciplinary research that explores connections between business practices, market structures, and social outcomes.
  • Teaching

    We develop next generation business leaders equipped with systems thinking and problem solving skills through coursework and hands-on experiences.
  • Programs

    We put research into action through innovative programs that create better markets and stronger communities both here in Atlanta and globally.
  • Convening

    We create spaces for dialogue, debate, and solutions through community events, practitioner conferences, and other activities.
  • Thought Leadership

    We create and share content that challenges narratives and inspires action including books, articles, op-eds, and more.

    Social impact courses offered as part of social enterprise and nonprofit concentrations

Podcast & Blog Series

In recognition of Earth Day, we are sharing insights from #GoizuetaClimateSmart MBA students through a new episode of the Goizueta Effect Podcast featuring Danni Dong (MBA/MSPH23) and Professor Wesley Longhofer along with blog series posts by Ethan Arbiser (EvMBA25), Julian Smith (MBA23), Timothy Lam (MBA23), and Margot Merwin (MBA23). Content for the series was created by our delegation of MBA students that attended the 2023 ClimateCAP Summit which focused on the enormous influence and responsibility today's business leaders hold in addressing the climate crisis.
